Enough is enough. I hate the chopping and changing of managers cf Watford. It shows the weakness of board management. Teams can struggle scoring and the most intricate schemes coaching staff come up with can fail on a forward’s inability. Defence is more basic. Pick up your man, do your job (as Willie Garner is so fond of saying), stop the cross coming in. It’s the bit you expect a coaching team to sort out, especially set pieces, no matter how limited their ability. Goodwin was a good, uncompromising defender: always hated/admired him playing for St Mirren against us. He has not passed that on to the team he has built. Time for change.
