3-5-2 doesna work ... as evidenced by the goals we are losin' fae balls comin in fae wide areas, but ... we dinna hae a decent back 4 unless we are playin' McRorie at the back ... or Richardson and/or Hayes. Add tae that, two of our best defenders this season have been Coulson and Scales - both loanees!

That's the rod he's made for his ain 'back'. As a former defender, Goodwin must be acutely aware that this is the January window priority #1.

Funding? No problem. Offload Watkins, Polvara, Morris, Roberts while they can still walk without the aid of a stick.

Out on loan players? ... sell McLennan and Campbell, see if Ngwenya and Hancock are any good as cover.... and if a strong central defence can be put in place, fk it ... sell Stewart as well while he still has a crumb of credibility, and Play McCrorie in mid, complete wi' captain's armband, alongside Ramadani. (Barron can fight for a place or **** off for some decent cash anywhere ither than Cheeksville).

Keep Besuijen ... cos if Duk learns tae play a pass mair often than take on an entire defence 25 yards fae goal, he will be off for good cash, and Vinnie might 'fill a hole'.

Richardson?? hmm ... wi a decent CH pairing, he could get better .... his forward runs doon the wing are often mair effective than Kennedy's.

Hayes? ... be good if he could help Duncan become the 'new Hayes'.... til then, or until his legs go, keep him!

Kennedy? Hmmm ... in the words of that childhood rhyme concerning a young lass with the forehead curl, .. 'when he is good, he is very, very good. But when he is bad, he is horrid.' ..... but wi' a decent full/wing back in support/overlap, he would be good mair times than nae .... so it all comes down tae gettin in the new Miller/McLeish two man wall .... over to you Jim ... it's a caker .. ken?
    Spot on.

I don't think McRorie in the middle is the answer to anything, to me he hasn't the skills for the middle of the park and isn't the best at the back either. The loon needs to find a position in the team and stick to it and lose this utility tag before he becomes the next Deek Young.

The 3-5-2 is combination of the back 4 being too weak as a unit and the need to try and squeeze Duk
and Miovski into the team as 2 central strikers

Baffling when he spent so much time signing and spending money on wingers

The only decent orthodox full back who can play in a 4 we have is mackenzie, Coulson isn't strong enough to play as an orthodox full back and is a half winger so you can see why he is played as a wingback - Richardson is nigh on useless as a defender because he can't actually defend

McCrorie is a half defender, half midfielder, he's not a long term solution as a centreback because hes not good in the air

The whole squad is too small and too weak in the air

Stewart is good in the air but a liability on the deck , he makes so many mistakes per 90 minutes its laughable

The club need to sign a proper out and out centre back and a right back who can actually defend in January and switch back to a back 4

Miovski is like playing with 10 men, so i would not start him in away games

Fine, up to the last sentence.

We never seem to appreciate talent when we've got it.

There’s a lot to unpack from that shyte last night. We’ll get hammered by the Huns in the semi but I’m bricking it about that Darvel game

I think with this team Glass would be getting more out them than Goodwin, thats not me saying Glass shouldn't have been sacked either.
    Just my opinion.
Mcinnes was rightly sacked,we were sh!t for 2 seasons under him,we appointed the wrong manager again,Cormack needs to get it right next time
That’s the problem right there,I don’t think Cormack has it in him to get it right.

I expect another shyte manager will replace Goodwin.

Officially tied for the most goals conceded in the calendar year, that's some going for a man who said when appointed that fixing the leaky defence was the easy part, couple of weeks to sort it out. Glass's team had a league record of played 25, scored 30 and conceded 32

Take away Glass's and Robson's results and the team have conceded 42 goals in 26 league games, scoring 40 which is bottom 6 and close to relegation material.

I think that the reality is that JG is a game or two away from a P45 - someone commented that we are joint equal with the worst in the league for goals against. And we’ve almost, apart from Kennedy, stopped scoring. It’s not looking good and the Huns will thrash us in the semi, I fear.

Has he been sacked yet? Disgraceful if he has not been.
