Thread: Huddersfield Town Post Match Thoughts

  1. #61
Didn't go last night so can't comment on the game, but I would imagine rinse and repeat since the break.
Someone said these aren't his players so not his fault, when he took over these same players were sat in 8th,so they and the previous manager were doing something right.
I want Taylor to succeed, but whatever we had before now seems to have gone, Warne worked hard at getting average players to play above themselves almost every week with a team spirit that was second to none.
    Without that we are screwed.

This happens every other season. It won't change without considerable investment, and we aren't big enough for that. As someone put earlier, these are golden years in our history.
I'm not knocking the players for tonight, we can barely field a team at the moment. Can't see us getting another twenty odd points, but hey, who knows? Maybe we'll survive to go through all this again next season.
Well spoken, Jocksgloves, we as supporters for many a year, can only live in hope, that the team we support, weather they win,, lose, or draw, can please , pick up a few points in the next few games, are we asking to much,! keep the faith,. and good night.!

.......I can see why he's hasn't played many from the start> Gru, you must polish that magic eye of yours cos positionally, he's lost in this league.

Now you know why TS wont spend any money, look at the crap players we get then dont/hardly play. Sack the " committee of Transfers".....

No could see last night he's got it he doesn't give ball away give him a run in the side. Could Victor have done better with their 2nd goal? though showed lucks gone against us how many goals has Rhodes scored like that? hardly any I'd say. Harding Barlaser were losing ball or passing to them most of the night.

Reasons we are not playing well I have seen in the last 12 hours.
    -Warne over trained them
    - Taylor has lost the dressing room
    - Too many fans sit down.
    - Tony doesn’t invest enough
-Taylor is out of his depth
    - No defensive coach
    - players don’t want to get injured before moving or new contracts
    - sickness
    - World Cup break
    - Fans sing red army too much
    -Missing Wiles
    - Missing Hall
    -Missing Kelly
    - Not missing Eaves
    -Brexit
    -Harry and Meghan
    - Too deep.
    - Too far forward.

My opinion is that we don’t have an identity as a team at the minute and Taylor needs at least 3 transfer windows before the team reflects his style and personality.
At the beginning of the season we played a very high pressing game. Taylor doesn’t seem to want to play that way but the players we have are conditioned and used to it.

West Brom just went a gnats ******* hair from not existing due to bad investments and changing managers and players too much with 2X parachute payments so the answer isn’t for Uncle Tony to change the way the club is financed. He knows what he is doing and bad investment is much worse than sticking to a budget.

I’d be more than happy to finish 4th bottom.

Barlaser has been playing like he doesn't want to get injured before a transfer to be fair. That may not be the case

I watched game on red button anyone who watched game live I follow red button what did you reckon to McCart? Me needs a run in the side to get totally up to speed but looked abit classy to me his use of the ball getting forward. Thoughts.

Backed off to much when attacking wingers came at him allowing them to cross. Needs to change that in his game.

Does look composed though and like you said, the more he plays then the better he will become.

He got into some good positions and over hit passes a few times.
There is a player there but I think he might suffer from not knowing his best position. I’d like to see him in the middle of a 3.

Please expand. What has he been doing differently in your mind to suggest that? Or not. Running less? I don't buy that. Simply bad form in a team in bad form IMO.
