IB wasn't a bad manager, he just wasn't a great one. I feel that he had a few squad balancing issues to deal with and also lacked the ability to see our midfield was easily overrun. He was trying to fit Roberts and Rodrigues into a system that just didn't suit. In order to try and get them in, he then played Palmer as the defensive midfielder and we just got overrun. I think LW has only a couple of times not played one of JOB, Bajrami or Francis as the breaker in midfield. He knows Palmer is better suited up the pitch and we tend not to get overrun in midfield as much now. I think he once attempted to play Castro and Rodrigues together and quickly changed it second half
