Don’t worry Oz - shame that when you try to explain why you hold your opinions without disrespecting the other person’s view some people just resort to insults.

Maybe White should read or listen to some of the comments from various Leeds podcasts, the Athletic or the YEP all of which seem to think we are not playing attractive stuff too and there is no progression to our play.

The testing ground will be the next run of games against those in the bottom half. We seem to do worse against them as they attack us less, press us hard and exploit the limitations of the Marsch iteration of the RB game plan.

If people are happy with Marsch and the curent team and see progress then 8 am happy for them I just don’t quite see it that way and I try to take positives.

If Wober comes in as seems likely on the press channels then will see if he is an improvement on what we have and give him a chance.

The Che Adams rumours/links seem to be resurfacing too but that could just be media tripe.

Watching football is strange and often a figment of the eye of the beholder.

You definitely notice different things when you’re at games compared to watching broadcasts.

Within the ground, your eyes are drawn to quite different aspects of play because of your specific field of view. You also get a much better idea of the speed of play, something that can be lost on broadcasts as everything seems closer together and, well, easier?

I spent most of my active watching behind the goal (Kop) and I didn’t like switching my standing position (or seat) within there as it didn’t seem “right”, especially when I was seeing the same players on a regular basis.

It was a totally different experience watching from the middle of the East stand (I bought one of those bonds and watched from there for a few years before switching back to the Kop).

Obviously you’d need the luxury of having the time to do it, but watching games on the box after you’ve seen them live or simply rewatching the same broadcast again will often highlight stuff you’d missed or didn’t appreciate the first time around.

I guess that’s what the backroom analysts are for.

Away fixtures never bothered me as your view was out of your control, so you took what you were given.

I’m a creature of habit, me.

I assume most of you watch games that don’t involve Leeds. I’ll often watch these to follow the referee (I still get paid to cover games!), specific players or logical units (like the defence or midfield). It helps to give a bit more insight into how others coach or approach the game.

I find it very hard to do this with Leeds, simply because I have skin in the game!

I think youre overreacting Hopey lad - thought Whites comments where tongue in cheek if i'm honest.
Just funny that your "optomistic" title doesn't match your views on this particular thread - though I too would be hurt being compared to he who shall not be named lol
