I'd appreciate if you could ask this at the next meeting and respond back on here where all fans can see the response given.
If you think he's bad you should see some of the people who were fans rep on the club board before.

You mean like the guy that asked the kind of questions of the board that the fans are asking now? Maybe didn't get the answers people wanted, and was vilified for it by certain angry fans many of whom didn't even have society membership, but at least he had the balls to ask the questions.

Great guy by the way intelligent, well spoken, very good looking and seemingly completely bald. But then if you don't know the first thing about someone I suppose it's easy to form a distorted picture of them.

By most accounts liaison officer or whatever you want to call is a complete and utter waste of time for everybody......just box ticking

SLO is the type John Nelms likes to work with - really nice guy, quiet, never questions and accepts anything JN says to him. That's why Nelms was so keen to get him back on board after he resigned the post. SLO is a league requirement, can you imagine Linda's reaction if someone had gone in there who actually asked the awkward questions and actually liaised with fans? Tie a drive belt round his head and run a tumble dryer.

I remember this. Told everyone what the answers that he had been given and then got pelters by being accused of agreeing with the board's answers. Talk about shooting the messenger!

I don't think that supporting the current board is a rational thing to do. That is a big big change of mind from me. The exit plan where the club is cast adrift and the Campy project is progressed by another developer without any stadium seems more likely than the stadium being built. Admittedly this is all guesswork and categorically not what our American owners are telling us. Support the team and let's try to make it a better option to retain the football club and pass ownership to another set of deep pockets.

Not a slight at the guy it just seems to be a position that has to be filled but no influence whatsoever

Feel like we have been talking about these things for a decade.

So dissapointed with the way we are being run

Girls teams, charity blah blah blah but folk that want to pay hard earned to see a gemme ........back of the queue for importance ......in fact not even in a queue which is ironic.

I'll say it again the yanks have zero interest in DFC

I insisted that the topic of no PATG for Dundee supporters while there was PATG for Arbroath supporters was put on the agenda for the last Dee4life board of directors meeting.
I then explained at the meeting why there was PATG in the Bob Shankly Stand for Arbroath supporters and I also stated that there should also be PATG for Dundee supporters especially at this game as there would be a lot of people back home in Dundee for New Year who would likely attend this game.
These people will not be expecting the game to be all ticket for entrance to the home stands in Dens Park.
The Dee4life board of directors having been trying to get their Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors since the last Primary representative resigned on 1st April 2017 with no success.

Our American owners told us when they acquired a majority shareholding that they would buy back Dens Park for the Dundee supporters who could then repay them over a period of time.
    This has never happened.

It's very easy - you elect someone, send a letter to the club secretary stating that person has been elected and state that they must be admitted to the BoD, in the reserved primary supporter rep position, at the earliest opportunity. It's not for the club board to say whether they will or will not accept any individual to that primary position as they have no option. Should the club fail to accept the properly nominated individual, and fail to send off the appropriate documentation to Companies House and the SPFL, I'm sure there must be formal channels through which that refusal can be challenged.

It's all fine and well the Dee4L board discussing but it has to be taken formally to the club and the conduit for such communication must be the properly elected representative who has subsequently been formally appointed as a director of the club.

The Dee4life directors tried to nominate their primary representative on 4th January 2020 but John Nelms refused to accept the person nominated giving his reason why.
I was only an official volunteer at that time and I was not invited to attend the meeting with John Nelms. In fact I knew nothing about the meeting until the details were announced at the Dee4life AGM the following Saturday.
