Killing the Game - That’s Not Football!

Hate teams who try to kill games from the off. Reading did it in the first half - their keeper was wasting time from 30 minutes! Go a goal down and it’s a different story with the c unts!

Love Newcastle but don’t get their killing the game - kicking the ball out and wasting time! They did this at Liverpool and at first I wanted Newcastle to beat Arsenal but hey - they were at it again tonight and wasted time at every opportunity!

Being honest - wouldn’t want us to ever be like that. Is there any difference between the Pulis style of play and cheating and wasting time from 30 minutes and playing for a point? That’s not football!

Hi ,after Dike scored a few minutes later, Ince was tapping his watch at the ref when we had a throw in.

It's frustrating to watch it happen to us, but we were just as bad when Pulis was in charge, until the referees take the same stance as the world cup refs and add the correct amount of time on in both halves nothing will change, there has to be a suitable deterrent.

Agree Salt, apparently the ball was only in play for 43 minutes! That can’t be right, would stop all the time wasting!

Proper injury time won’t happen in this country.

It’s to do with policing I was told once, they want games finished by 5pm on a Saturday for example.

I think there’s also a cost element involved and police charge by the minute if their attendance exceeds a certain time.

Can't stand Newcastle, I used to like them but I watched them v Arsenal last night and they were like a bunch of pratts. Trying to stop a throw in because Arsenal were in the ascendancy, and that was subs who weren't even on the pitch! Big Money, and now they will be a top six club throwing their weight around like they earned it. I sometimes wonder whether I want us back in the Prem, its a lousy league. The Prem is "Top six" and the rest are just waiting for the drop at some point which is where we would be absolutely no doubt.
