As for A&E and the nhs being broken, it’s not it’s just flooded by free loaders coming in on dingies. Call me what you want but it’s the truth and lefties don’t like the truth.
Jesus Christ....that's the bloody problem! Public transport and other utilities should be owned by the British public! As it is we're being raped by the free market. Join the dots ffs.

    And as for truth.....Hahahahahaha
I'd put money on you having voted for Boris Johnson - a man widely recognised as being a serial liar.... but the importance of truth can clearly be conveniently ignored.

Like I said, if you think it's bad now think again, they've only just started.
    Suck it up.

I agree, it's a crime that there's no accountability. The network is a shambles so why aren't more questions asked about how taxpayers money is being spent? Public transport should be publicly owned. End of story

    Yes it should

But how would you change it?

Buy out the private companies to get the control?

    Very expensive

12 out of the current 17 franchises are run by the government or British companies.

    All are subsidised.

There's no magic bullet, no quick solution, but until the reasons for the increasing inequalities are recognised and discussed, nothing will change. The drain of wealth and resources to the super-rich has to be challenged. Privatised utilities are just another way of diverting wealth to the rich via the endless cycle of subsidies/profits/bonuses/crap-service/subsidies etc. It would take years (generations?) to sort out this mess, but we've got to start somewhere. As things stand - and especially after Starmer's speech yesterday - any real change looks unlikley in the short term.

It doesn't protect others, that was debunked. Not even tested for effects on transmission.

I don’t disagree with any of that but to buy back control from a private company would cost millions, maybe billions. Plus as pointed out some of the operating companies are foreign owned so the buy out money would also go abroad.

As for Starmers speech, well no change there, the usual rhetoric

We need a plan - ok what is it Mr S?
We need to invest - ok where are you going to get the money from Mr S?

    Add that to the usual:-

The government plan is useless and won’t work ( the standard Labour response to everything)
The usual stuff of the politics of envy
Vote for us then we will tell you what we are going to do
