Someone rang Football Heaven last night and said
"If being a good side in L1 and going into the Championship sporadically makes me a happy clapper then so be it. I am a happy clapper and not having to go to DVS or play in L2 anymore"
Does throwing money at football clubs mean anything?
Everton have spent half a billion and are terrible
Man Utd have spent a Billion and their fans want the owners out.
Sheffield Wednesday have spent big, had transfer embargos and can't get out of L1 (Derby are the same)
Blackpool have sold a player for nearly 7 million and had an investment this season from the same shell company that approached TS and are below us in the league.

I don't know about anyone else, but there was a time I dreamed of being a stable third tier club. For me this last Ten years have been an incredible period in our history. There are quite a few of our former rivals would swap us in a heartbeat. S****horpe etc.
TS is a successful business man, I trust the future of the club to him. I've never been a 'political' fan, just happy to have one of the most stable clubs in English football.
I totally agree. After leaving the UK in 1999 there were many times in the first 10 years away that I'd resigned myself to probably not have a club to 'come home to'. The 3 hours spent at NYS on Boxing Day with my wife, daughter, grandson and other family members was my highlight of our recent visit back there and worth the 6 hour penance I had to pay at Meadowhell the following day![]()
So taylor say it isgoing to be loans and out of contract players FFS, coming in. so the scenario i see is ogbene going barlaser possibly jan defo in summer unless they increase the offer. and we will replace them with players who will be less committed to the club we are going down and fast.
my only complain is how we have gone from a pressing side to what we have now
Matt Taylor saying 4 out of 5 offered new contracts have no interest in signing them at this moment in time. What do we do then? It's actually 3 cause we have the option of an extra season adding on to Wiles contract. Me sell them can't let them go for nothing end of the season. Need to set the wheels in motion now to give us time to get replacements in.
i hate to say but TS may be tempted
