I think that he is on holiday in America.
There is an article in today’s Courier about a Dundee supporter sending an email to John Nelms complaining about the seats in the South Enclosure at the Arbroath game being covered in bird droppings and he received a reply from Greg Fenton who is the Chief Executive of Dundee Football Club in addition to being the Chief Executive of the DFC Community Trust.
Either Nelms is on holiday or he is not prepared to reply to an email from a Dundee supporter who ultimately contributes to his lavish salary.

Yesterday you thought he was in London dealing with finances, now you think he's on holiday in America. Looking forward to where you think he is tomorrow.

Greg Fenton was made a cheap CEO for the exact reason of answering this sort of thing. John Nelms had never been interested in Dundee fans and never will be except at season ticket time.

The sooner all Dundee fans realise that the better and I'd go as far as to say that they might realise it quite quickly now if the manager chooses to leave.

Oh I agree we need reinforcements but that again last night was just another diabolical team selection from the manager
You can have all the players you want but if you’re going to keep putting out ultra defensive line ups and drop attacking players it’s not going to win us games
    Pathetic

Agree with this, we started a game against a club in disarray with 2 attack minded players. Inexcusable

    Disagree, GB not being backed.

Cretins at the game wanting him punted as soon as goal goes in.

This club is being run abysmally by the yanks but on it goes.

If not being backed he has to get the best from what he's got. That's not happening.

Players he has signed... Grayson not getting a game now, Osei Yaw I can't even call him a player, French the pick of the bunch.

Handling of players he doesn't want - Byrne shambles, Jakubiak now having to play, McGinn it'll come out soon how that went!

Crucial for us in this league is to be on the front foot and very difficult to do that putting a centre half in midfield all the time, playing like we did first half last night.

Like you I haven't got a second of time for John Nelms but the manager has to do better too.

He is 7/10 for me, made errors but he's also done a lot right.

Chocolate man is playing because he got none of his supposedly 4 signings in the summer.

Grayson gets a raw deal, he's been ok no worse than many others, french has been very good but form has dipped, Robinson was a bit of a coup but where's the preparation for recall, Nelms? GB, Gary Ogilvie, who to blame I don't know but there's one constant in all of it over the years and it ain't Gary Ogilvie or GB.

I'm totally frustrated as this league should be won (not at a canter) but it should be won, nobody gonna give us it.

2 or 3 proper signings we win it, a couple of randoms squeezed in at end of window and we stay down.

And the french guy was a desperate signing.

Sheridan has been our best option up front last few games from bench. Had the manager started him last night, which he should’ve, he would’ve been pilloried from certain ‘supporters’ before a ball was kicked.
