    Graham Potter's Chelsea.

What a disgrace this set of players are at Chelsea, virtually downing tools to get Potter the sack.

I know that the lure of the biggish club and the wages on offer are always bound to tempt a young manager but I said at the time that I thought Graham was going onto dangerous ground.

He strikes me as a really decent bloke with great football intelligence but one who will always be suited to a smaller club punching above it's weight and a future England manager.

I hate seeing players hanging a decent manager out to dry.

Totally agree Mick! Whilst I was a fan of Gallagher - he’s not good enough for a big Premier club! Palace was his level.

Couldn’t agree more mate, should never be near an England shirt.

I think that you’re spot on with all that,Mick. Potter is a decent bloke and Brighton was a good fit for him. He’ll get a big payout from Chelsea, though, when the fire him.

Nathan Jones is another one who, in my opinion, is in over his head. He has left Luton twice, both times when doing well and he failed at Stoke and I doubt that he’ll prosper at Southampton, either. A bit like jumping out of bed with Liz Hurley and landing in one with Rio Ferdinand!

That’s a thought I find hard to live with! 😩

Potter will end up at somewhere like Stoke or Derby when they’re in better shape and have okay finances and build a long term stay in the way Brendan Rodgers has at Leicester City.

Or equally he could go to Forest or any other club who has a Brighton or Brentford type of business model and do a long term job.

He’s just not high profile enough for the sorts of w a n k e r players that Chelsea buy.

I though Tuschel was a very good fit for Chelsea in all ways.

Potter for me is a top tier manager but he made his first mistake going to Chelsea mid season, with a complete mess of a squad. I hope they give him time to buy better players.

Tuchel reportedly fought the owners to get Aubameyang, who is Chelsea’s Grant.

Top English managers are always always overlooked for an accent. Great to see Howe prove this is wrong.

It use to be known as short term planning getting a manager in for a season.
Now no longer even short term but extremely short short term now.

You can be sure someone is already running the slide rule over CC as we speak.

I always maintaine you cannot buy passion for a club. The player/manager has to have it.
Yoksula showed some passion by reducing his wage demand.
Can't count to many these days...🤷
