In January we beat Bristol City 3-1 on a snow-bound Hawthorns and went top of the league with a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road. Then it snowed and we didn't play for weeks. When we started playing again we were going for three trophies. We asked for an extension to get all our games in but we were denied. I remember one week we played on the Saturday, Monday, Thursday and following Saturday. At the end of the season we were out on our feet, too knackered to cross the finishing line and lost the last game 0-1 to Forest who pipped us for runners up.
If it hadn't been for the winter I reckon we would have won at least one trophy.
I well remember that last home match to Forest, such disappointment after a superb season.

After the snow our form fell apart though.
