I dont get people on here saying how poor a squad we have all of a sudden, and how all the ills of everything that has happened in recent weeks is PW fault.
The one thing PW didnt address was to bring in a CF to replace smudger, but he got let down at the last minute when the CF we looked like we'd got on loan from Watford, Ashley Fletcher, decided he'd rather go to Wigan on loan. PW also got let down, again at the last minute, when the Southampton midfielder,Smallbone, got hijacked by Stoke when it seemed he was destined to come to us, and both players would have made us better.
However, since MT came in, he has tried to change how we play a little, and up to the world cup break we were certainly doing, and playing, more than ok under him and looked fairly strong defensively, but now all of a sudden since we resumed after the WC we've had lots of injuries and we have conceded some awful goals that IMO we wouldnt have conceded before the WC break.
Yes injuries have hurt us big time, but the lack of effort that is being shown on the pitch suggests that the rumours about unrest within the squad has some kind of credence that only the club can address.
PW left us with a very decent experienced squad, but the lack of a hold up CF was the one thing he needed and didnt get, and ironically, some on here who wanted him gone now blame him for everything that's happening now, even though he left us in a very decent position. MT now needs backing in this window, it is the start of the squad overhaul to change the way he wants us to play so let's see if he gets the support he needs, because it would be ridiculous to get rid of him. Matt Taylor won 5 of the first 10 at Exeter before taking over at Rufc. I'm struggling with the % on that one 😉
Maybe it's a player problem after all 😉🤣

I don't agree with your squad assessment, but it isn't all PW fault either. Peltier was a complete waste a wage and a position we didn't need. Bramall is a league 1 player at best, he can't defend and doesn't get enough crosses in for a player of his pace. Eaves enough said. Lack of a CF I put that on the board, they didn't really back Warne there forcing him to look at choices. High was a waste of a loan and a wage being he wasn't played, Kioso we have to still wait and see. Bola and Odiffin should have gone out on loan not good enough for this level. The best players are ones we had plus Hall, a good squad when we didn't have a natural goal scorer or Centre forward in it. PW was not given enough funds but he had he spent badly.

Amongst all of the players you mention none of them have any “bite” and it’s showing in our games now

I'll put these together now. League games only.

    1. Ronnie Moore - 40 wins out of 163 = 24.54% win rate
    2. Steve Evans - 13 wins out of 55 = 23.64% win rate
    3. Paul Warne - 26 wins out of 129 = 20.15% win rate
    4. Matt Taylor - 3 wins out of 16 =18.75% win rate

It is a bit alarming that our managers seem to be getting worse at this level. Could be due to a widening gap between rich and poor clubs also though.
Definitely due to a widening gap, especially since parachute payments were introduced 10 years ago. Since then, in our 5 full Championship seasons we have P230, W48, D59, L123 (21%, 26%, 53%) so our 'average' season would see us getting 41pts with those percentages. That just goes to show how much better than our 'normal selves' we have to be just to avoid relegation.

I love these statistical comparisons because they are so misleading. They rarely combine like with like

For example Alan Shearer, 63 England caps and Alex Scott, 140 England caps

Which one is the best footballer?

Misleading? Wouldn't your comparison be like trying to equate our L1 form with our Championship form?
