    Player Ratings VS West Brom

    Muric 7 -
    Beyer 7
    Taylor 6
    Maatsen 7
    Bastien 7
    Cullen 8
    Brownhill 7
    Tella 8
    Zaroury 8
    Barnes 6

    Benson 6
    Rodriguez 7
    Twine 9

What a great win. Although, I thought we was lucky to have the decision go in our favour. I don't think it was a foul on Muric to rule out the second goal.
Talking of Muric, some of them ball out were just class, outside of the foot, this guy is so so cool. We really do have a Great midfielder in Muric

I thought Tella was fair off it tbh but then pops up with a sublime finish.

So pleased for Twine, he looks a real class player. When we signed him I was listening to a few podcasts and certainly on one he was being tipped as a future England player.

I think Barnes deserved a 7 and twine did well but a 9 is overly generous just for a spot on FK but Muric frightens me and excites me, he should be a sweeper,

Muric 9 - best passer of a ball at our football club.-
Beyer 7 - solid, needs buying.
    Taylor 6 - wrong position.
Maatsen 8 - I love this dude. Needs buying.
Bastien 7 - neat & tidy, did not let us down.
Cullen 8 - battled all night and a great fall on the edge of the box.
Brownhill 8 - 100% effort allied to a lot of skill.
Tella 8 - fast becoming my favourite current player.
Zaroury 7- always poses a threat.
    Barnes 7 - 100% trier.
    Benson 8 - survived 3 assassination attempts.
Rodriguez 7 - invaluable experience and it showed.
Twine 10 - Beckhamesque goal and a William Holden smile.

If only he was a brilliant keeper, it'd be like were playing with 12 men. As it is he's a liabilty every time a high ball comes into our box, fortunately with the we play and dominate possesion, it's no easy thing for the opposition to put the high balls into our box.

One simply cannot head the ball out of the goalkeepers gloves, especially when he is wearing them.

His smile lights up the night and what a goal to equalise.

I've said it in other posts mon ami, Twine is behind the others in terms of fitness, VK is being patient but his time is approaching, maybe Jay and Ash are just keeping his seat warm for him.

This was a signature VK win. 0-1 down, team up all four of your leading scorers - Zaroury, Jay Rod, Tella and Benson-with 30 minutes to go; get the equaliser and then take off the scorer and sub on the enigma that is Scott Twine for the last 10 minutes.

    Muric 7.5
    Beyer 7
    Taylor 6.5
    Maatsen 7
    Bastien 6.5
Cullen 8 - drove the team forward time and again
    Brownhill 7
Tella 7.5 - superb finish for his goal
Zaroury 8.5 - a constant threat and a beautiful pass to set Tella free for the equaliser
    Barnes 7

    Benson 7
Rodriguez 8 -invaluable experience and it showed.
    Twine 8

Muric 8 - distribution is top - but I felt he did well last night when called upon - he had the ball in both hands when bundled in to net as well for the doubters among us.
Beyer 7 - steady again but I think needs THB to really show his worth carrying the ball out etc.
Taylor 6 - isn’t a centre back - but was at fault for the goal having watched it back ( was pushed but should be stronger ).
Maatsen 8 - said before best player at club has it all
Bastien 6 - did Ok but a fringe player I think tbf to him the pace of the game was quick and he hasn’t played regularly .
Cullen 8 - Best Buy we made - sniffs danger and gets a foot in when he really shouldn’t , as the game went on he influenced it more - he can pick a pass as well
Brownhill 6- not his best game for me - ball got away from him too much - but kept going and always gives everything
Tella 8 - frustrated figure for long periods however is relentless in his runs and offering- he just wants balls played in the channels and he’d be a v happy boy - pace is awesome
Zaroury 8 - always a danger delivers good ball and is available all the time - his link up
Play has improved - hence Tella goal
Barnes 7 - applied himself but was struggling against a strong back line - should have scored
Benson 7 - was pole axed a few times and doesn’t like the physical side - he’d be better in the Premiership
Rodriguez 7 - said many times his movement and link up play helps us a lot , just doesn’t have the legs for 90 mins running channels
Twine 7 - set piece ability a plus , but need to see him involved in a game for longer - might be a good option in the hole behind a striker

Special mention for the referee who imo was a Tool , he did his absolute best for WBA and the look of disappointment on the linesman’s face when he had to give us a corner told the story for me,
