I think the club's possibly tried to wait it out, let all the furore die down. But the outcry over Darvel is very different to Hearts.
The media coverage is bordering saturation, legends such as Miller & McLeish have weighed in, pundits are saying he's lost the dressing room and fans aren't being dismissed in the usual social media/keyboard warrior fashion.
Add to which I'm seeing Cormack, the Board & Gunn all coming in for flak. Even local personalities like Paul Lawrie and Neil Fachie have spoken out about the issues. When the hierarchy start to feel the heat, they typically sack the manager.
Around lunchtime my thinking was he'd be in charge at Easter Road, now leaning towards some hands being forced and Goodwin gone tomorrow.

Agree 100%. Although we do have to factor in folk being shyte at their jobs when they come up here, especially from Motherwell.

There's just no way he can survive this, like has been said above, the outcry reaches further than just Twitter. I can't remember the fans being this harmonious over the fate of a current manager in a long long time.

Apparently Goodwin is in Glasgow doing some shopping and the directors meeting begins at 4pm so hopefully before too long we'll have a decision.
Can't for the life of me see any scenario other than a Goodwin gone but it is AFC after all.
