Even more so if the striker, left sided player and the central midfielder comes to fruition.

Ask me at the end of the month, when the transfer window is closed..
    Still chuffed to bits.
Transfer window has got as well as I expected.
Short term - experience brought in, young player brought in, Fosu a good signing so is Jordan Hugill.
Expecting Jordan to put himself about up front and make it uncomfortable for defenders.
Conor Washington could play off him as second striker.
Both the above players need confidence in front of goal and the goals will come.
Don't expect 20 goals per season value, it's not going to happen..🤞

No one on the outside will ever know Gru but I,like everyone else, have been very surprised by these additions in January and I still think we could see a couple more. It may be MT but it may also be TS. TS comes across as a guy with huge pride who doesn't like to get beat. It would have stung when Warne left and with Derby doing well the thought of relegation my have taken on an additional dimension with the increasing possibility of swapping places. This out of character recruitment in January may be more to do with TS saying......''I'll f**kn show ya''!

Surprised and very pleased, so far. Has me speculating to myself what has brought about the change in approach. Interesting.

Happy with the signings so far.

Happy with the players that have gone out on loan.which can only be good for them.

And happy in the fact, that if one or two of the big guns leave, which will temper things a bit.the signings so far suggest that we can replace them to a good standard even if maybe not the same.

    Very pleased so far.
I just wish I could get rid of that niggling worry that we may be about to lose our quarterback and not have time to recruit an adequate replacement.
I really hope MT and Scotty have got that potential problem covered.

Yea but at least the jigsaw puzzle will be completed by the time we kick a ball again. This free weekend has worked well for us.I wouldn't be surprised if BOTH Barlaser & Ogbene stay until the end of the season. It could be stale mate with offers made based on the fact that Boro' ,for example, can have them both for nothing in 18 games time and we take the view that those offers, along with deductions for sell on clauses aren't worth taking because of the benefits to us for the remaining 18 games. The only issue I have with keeping them is their attitude and the possible effects of that.Neither can afford,at any cost,an injury.

I suppose another issue though is whether Boro think they can make a serious bid for promotion this season in which case they may well make a significantly increased bid late on for one or both players.

I am happy because finally Tony Stewart as come good, with sanctioning the manager with funds, to give
our club a fighting chance of staying in the championship.
He can break the recording now of his normal comment, " We have learnt our lesson ", each time we were
relegated from the championship, back into league one.
Maybe concerned about the length of the contract, 3.5yrs for a 30yr old player, but when you see Billy Sharp
at Sheffield United still scoring goals at 36yrs of age [37yrs on 5th Feb], we have to hope Hugill can get the
goals, & maybe the length of the contract was a condition of him signing for us.
Hope he can do a ' John Galley ' & get a hat-trick in his first game.
