Not letting that pathetic referee dictate the result of the game was so important.
Well done Notts for keeping their cool because my telly nearly ended up in next doors garden.
I think Jones will drop into Ruben's position but I feel so sorry for him getting sent off. So unjust.

Can’t moan at the mental fortitude of the current team. In previous years, we would have bottled that straight away. To dig in, hold onto the 3 points, even with them having a ref on their side…
Well done Notts. Well done Luke Williams. The difference maker this season.

Great result again, despite the incompetence of the officials.

It says everything that in several recent Notts games the refs have been booed off by fans of the winning side. It's easy to accuse fans of sour grapes if their team has lost, but not even victory can sweeten the taste of that level of ineptitude.

Remember his name if he gets a Meadow Lane fixture, Paul Johnson.

A yellow card count of 3 for them, 6 for us is outrageous - he did everything he could to keep their players on the pitch, and ours off it.

Having said that, Ruben's 2nd depends on whether the ball was still in play - it was apparently, deliberate handball, so that's that.

He was probably frustrated that Bostock's ball was so bad.

Phew! A few shredded nerves but a brilliant win, made even better by Chesterfield and Woking losing.

Is it too much to ask for Altrincham to do us a favour?

It’s been an awfully long time since I have been so worked up over a referee. It wasn’t his sheer incompetence, you’d have to ask if he was a Wrexham fan. Given he did as much as possible to do as much damage as possible to us.
It was so utterly biased it could not just be incompetence.
Really decent performance from Notts. Aside from a few silly mistakes we never looked in any real danger, and again created enough chances to win even when it was 12 against 10.
