Yes. Wonder where the results were posted? Was part of the response the Open Letter? Might be worthwhile getting Dee4Life to ask their membership for their views. Democracy is just a simple way of making decisions. It does not give any intellectual support for the validity of a decision and people can quite easily democratically make the wrong decision. However it might be worthwhile for the DFC board to find out what Dee supporters think.

I suggest that you read Post number 17 of this topic where you will read I stated that the Dee4life leaflet only gave details how to join using the enclosed QR code.
There should have also been details of how to join using the Dee4life website included in the leaflet.

Why? As I said in my reply anyone should be able to go in the website and join quite easily without help.

I think that the details were listed in the old website which was superceded by the new Dee4life website in November 2022.
In my opinion the archive news and minutes of previous board of directors meetings plus AGMS should be transferred to the new Dee4life website as soon as possible before it is lost forever.

    You are missing the point.
The new leaflet trying to persuade Dundee supporters to join Dee4life should have every way to join listed and not just a QR code.
Not everyone uses a QR code.

In 2023 it's just about the easiest way. But I presume you already know that.

I presume the qr code simply takes you to the website....0

I do not have a clue where the QR code takes you.
You will have to ask the IT expert on the Dee4life board of directors that question.
One thing is certain. Dundee Football Club has an ageing support who are more likely to join via the website than a QR code.
I personally spoke to two Dundee supporters in the Main Stand asking them to join Dee4life and each one told me that they would never use a QR code to join Dee4life.

Fantastic sample size. It's settled then, three old codgers were in agreement.

You just made that up didn't you? If you didn't it means none of you even bothered to see what the QR code does 😂

If you were recruiting for Dee4Life you should've just let them know that haud it and dod it were no longer involved in running the show. They've have been using the QR code there and then.

Just for me can you tell when you decided the internet was a good technological replacement for writing letter to the papers and posting them? Times change.

Maybe ask about the move at the game on Sunday, the majority of fans are part of no groups.
I think at the initial plans for any new stadium possibly a lot of fans saw it as needed and the way forward as dens is needed major work.
We are now years from then and no progress hence a lot of fans apathy I would imagine.

I agree with you Eric there is a lot of apathy, but apathy is not the same as rejection.

If it was that simple then Nelms could easily argue he doesn't need to talk to Dee4Life as it's been rejected by thousands of Dundee fans on the basis of their apathy and non-membership of the society. I don't know why he hasn't already said that out loud, it would certainly rattle some cages.
