What happened to the spirit of getting behind the players you were espousing earlier? 😆

Que sera sera - it’s gonna be Arne Slot

    Take a point and run.

Koch was outstanding as were Adams and Mckennie who once they were booked the game was over for us, nobody to replace them meant nobody in midfield who could put a foot in

Wober very good but some horrendous passes and runs that nearly cost us goals.

Ayling brilliant, got done once or twice but in general solid.

Gnonto same old our main threat really, though I'm getting hacked off with him sulking when it goes out or he's been fouled and he doesn't track back, needs to switch on.

    Bamford, ****.

    Harrison, tried but ****.

Rutter, absolutely useless, he looks like a total dud.

Ayling was a real work horse tonight - Meslier did well - not sure he could do much with the goals conceeded

Not sure of your point? I've said previously that i think Sinisterra is greedy and not a team player. I didn't see tonights game so I can't comment on whether his brief appearance would have changed that, I suspect not. I also suspect you're referring to the spat between WS and myself? I said in that thread (Thoughtful and Sensitive for those not familiar with it), that I "slag (WS' word) players when they deserve it, and to date I see nothing in Sinisterras performance that makes him worth what we paid, nor a team player, but time will tell.

As for the rest, as I didn't see the game I can't comment, other than to say that o]it looks like we have a star in the making with Gnonto and I'm delighted we took a point from a game most (including me) though was a lost cause.

And the new manager, why we adopt the same myopia we have when it comes to scouting players (i.e nothing from these shores, no matter where they may have been born), is beyond me, and I'll pass judgement when we hear who it is, not who it might be.

Probably take flak for this but I don't rate Meslier as much as others do, he makes saves he should and that's about it, pulls out the odd top save but nothing more. He will be a good solid keeper but when you see likes of Martinez, Pickford, Ramsdale, Pope, Navas etc making constantly top level saves you see the gap between them and Meslier, also Meslier kicking is absolute garbage.

Love Meslier, he is a good young keeper just find the fascination with him being a future world beater a bit over the top given his actual ability.

Clearly not all media outlets are keeping up to date - the following cut from a post match report, spot the 'deliberate' mistake

All of the marks out of 10 for Jesse Marsch's Leeds United side at Old Trafford after their Premier League clash with Manchester United on Wednesday night as Wilfried Gnonto and a Raphael Varane own goal serve up an unexpected draw
