I mentioned this one a few weeks back Sith, but you have to realise its perfectly acceptable for Labour MP's - or former MP's who were MP's at the time of the transgression - to act in this way. Criticism is only allowed if you have a blue rosette

I understand RA throwing it around at the Tories, as he says. They are in power.
But you can go through the internet and find cheats/crooks/ ***ual deviants/ bullies etc across all parties.
It's amazing how they go into that job full of good intent, yet get corrupted over night.
    Power corrupts etc

So shout about the Tories, its true. But if you think not acknowledging the others is ok, then watch this space when it changes over
In 2021 Starmer said he was going to look into Labours staggering expenses.

    l

During an interview on Steph's Packed Lunch, the Labour Party leader was quizzed on his party's reportedly "staggering" expenses. Sir Keir stated that he would "look into" the report but failed to confirm or deny whether the reported figures were correct.

Steph McGovern said: "What is this in the paper yesterday about expenses and your top team’s expenses?

"There were some staggering figures about that and how much was being spent by some of your team."

The Labour Party leader replied: "I saw that and we are going to have a look at that.

"I have not had the chance to look at it yet but I did see it and so I will be looking at it."

    Never heard owt again?

It's time folks acknowledged what a cesspitt Westminster has become.

No idea what ‘Steph’s packed lunch’ is...but I’m glad you can see why I’m ‘throwing it around at the Tories’, still...just in case there’s any doubt...here’s a list since Johnson took over.
    Cummings...broke lockdown rules and lied.
    Elphicke...***ual assault.
    Roberts...unwanted ***ual advances.
    Johnson...reprimanded over £112,000 flat refurbishment.
    Hancock...broke his own lockdown rules.
Johnson...reprimanded over free holiday in Mustique.
    Paterson...’egregious’ breach of lobbying rules.
Griffiths...rape and coercive control of his wife.
    Warburton...***ual harassment and cocaine use.
Khan...***ual assault of a 15 year old boy.
Parish...watching po rn in the HoC.
    Pincher...drunkenly groping two men.
Johnson...breaking his own lockdown rules and lying about Pincher.
Williamson...had to resign (again) after telling an official to ‘slit your throat’.
Raab...over twenty outstanding allegations of bullying.
    Zahawi...’carelessness’ over his tax returns.

It’s quite a list and probably not exhaustive. You make your own mind up as to whether they might be worth a mention.

Look, I do not disagree with any of that. But as has been said.
Others in all parties never get the same amount of fury.
They should, they all do the same job.
Just because they aint blue, isn;t a get out of jail card.

You don’t ‘disagree with any of that’ because you can’t. It is irrefutable.

Others in all Parties will ‘get the same amount of fury’, if and when it happens, BUT...what is happening NOW is what matters and, as I hope even you won’t attempt to deny, this is one area where the Tories have a very significant lead.

Sith...I can recall lots of political scandals but never one after the other, day in day out like this lot...and Starmer was found to be innocent because they had followed the rules. Simple as that.

    EH?
    I don't disagree, because I don't have to.
AS for this line- Others in all Parties will ‘get the same amount of fury’, if and when it happens, BUT...what is happening NOW is what matters and, as I hope even you won’t attempt to deny, this is one area where the Tories have a very significant lead.

I can do a list like you if you want. From the SNP to Labour. But you in particular are very selective about who you slate.
Whether you are in government or not, is immaterial.
An MP is supposed to be governed by ethics and rules.
You're only interested when its Torys. That is irrefutable.

I’m not being selective. I just happen to be talking about the Party of Government for the last (very nearly) 13 years.
Go ahead...the floor is all yours. Make your list but remember we’re talking about now...NOT history.
All my examples are from the last couple of years. Broaden it if that helps...make it since the time Johnson took over as leader - and exemplar - of the current Conservative Party and, in the interests of fairness - as I did - let’s stick to one Party at a time please.

Yeah that was my point, the mail ran the story on repeat for weeks trying to get it to stick. The only thing that didn't add up was the account of Angela Rayners attendance, she wasnt there, are you sure, yes, you really sure...erm oh yeah she was.

I'm puzzled here as to why Tricky is claiming you only go on about the Tories rA, there has been plenty of publicity and fury over MP's from other parties who ahve transgressed and neither you or I ahve claimed otherwise.

However, the thread is "Careless Tories" and they are the party of Government who in the past 12 months have had one scandal after another outnumbering other parties MP's!

Yeah right...that’ll be why he was suspended immediately.
C’mon GP...you’re better than that. He was hardly ever going to be a Labour Party/Government high flyer anyway was he?
Look at the list of wrongdoers in high office from within the current Government. If all you can compare him with is this idiot then, as I said at the time, you really don’t have an argument do you?
