Of course they won't restore the death sentence, not even remotely on their radar, but Anderson mentioning it might just make some think there's life in the old Tory dog yet, it might still be worth voting for them. That's the theory I would imagine, but it won't work. Their only remote hope is to bring back Boris, but you can bracket him with the gallows, or on them if you like, neither are coming back.

I just hope Labour don't fall into the old "complacency" trick. I remember that Welsh prick Kinnock doing just that.
