Wow. What a team. That was seriously so one sided. We looked so much quicker all over the pitch. Huge gulf in class between the two sides. Muric is just unbelievable to watch. Just wow, lost for words how good we are.

his loan deal is until the end of the season but Lancs Live understands the Saints can opt to bring him back in January should they wish.

What a great performance. Beyer was superb, not just in defence but bringing the ball out. Ekdal, calm and assured. Muric brilliant in his distribution. He played like a sweeper at times.

Cullen is an unsung hero in my book. The work he gets through is unbelievable.

The experienced players seem to have a new lease of life too.

If Foster and Obafemi can find their feet, the options available at the front will be superb.

Today was a masterclass in how the beautiful game should be played.

At times Maatsen was in central midfield with Cullen covering for him.

I was seriously scratching my head to remember such a one-sided derby. I 'phoned Vinny on the touchline and asked him politely to declare at 3-0 for obvious reasons.

Muric 10. He spent 87 minutes of the game on the halfway line.
Roberts 8. Superb ball retention and aggressive off the ball.
Beyer 9. Class act.
Ekdal 9. Another class act.
Maatsen 10. I'm lost for words with this lad.
Brownhill 8. Box to box brilliance.
Cullen 9. A truly superb all round footballer.
Tella 10 Off the chart. Fabulous just fabulous.
