Wow. What a team. That was seriously so one sided. We looked so much quicker all over the pitch. Huge gulf in class between the two sides. Muric is just unbelievable to watch. Just wow, lost for words how good we are.
Muric -9 best sweeper in the league

I won’t review them all but both centre backs were outstanding Ekdal has done amazing to
Just slip straight in and he’s taken to Vincent’s formula without any trouble at all.

I’ve posted previously that Cullen is special and he is literally the best value for money signing this club had had for many a year ( all
His work under the radar ) what a reader of the game he is , has the brilliant timing to just step in when required l, it’s effortless second nature to him - behind the limelight and the flair of all the others he’s the one that Knits it all together- Brilliant 👍👍👍👍

I can’t sign off without mentioning Barnes the lad has taken on board what’s required and elevated his game to a different level ( bet he wishes he was 21 again ) in this team anyway.

So hats off to Ashley as he has surprised me and many more I think with his ability to adapt to fast flowing wonderful football not be just a battering ram, Tella is his foil of course and what a partner he is pace movement work ethic and finishing to match - long may it continue please?

Ok so this has fairly shocked me tbh. I think you see things fairly straight and normal but your way out with this. I am actually now thinking it's a joke which I have missed. Apologies if it is.

Surely you realise we are not playing a system that supports a goal scoring centre Forward in a sense. If we wanted to, VK would have done and right now Jay Rod would have 15 goals, but I bet our team goals would be 20 lower and we wouldn't be top of the league.

The system we are playing which he told us at the start of the season means the goals will be shared though out the team. Surely you understand this?
No! No! No! U-G. It's a longstanding private joke between me and sinkov which you have missed!

Early in the season when we were chucking one goal leads into draws and drawing with Blackpool, I wrote a thread entitled "The lack of firepower is killing us"!

What sinkov does not know is VK took it on board and decided since we could not possibly afford Haaland, he would get every player in the squad to get themselves on the scoresheet.

Just listen to old BT and things will be fine.

BT you caught my post before I edited it lol

After I post it, I thought surely he didn't mean it, so edited it. But you must have already clicked "reply" to my old post

Ok makes sense now. I was like "what" when I read it. I have just awoken though

It's all a bit of fun UG, whenever me or my good friend BT post something which turns out to be bollox, which is often, the other loses no opportunity to remind them of it. I should point out though, despite his excuses, when BT did post his 'Lack of firepower is killing us' thread, we were top scorers in the division by some distance. I nominated it for the 'Most ludicrous thread title of the season' award and BT is on track for a double, he's going to win that and the Prediction league. No stopping my mate, like Vinni, he's carrying all before him.

Ha, when I read it, I thought "eh" that's not like Sinkov at all (having seen a lot of your previous posts). Was quite surprised . If BT had posted it, I wouldn't have blinked an eye.

Didn't see the game, so I can't comment on that, only the goals, and what stood out for me was the part Barnes played in all three. For the first one, as Brownhill centred, two Preston defenders were so busy grappling with Ash, they left Tella completely unmarked. For the second he drew three defenders in towards him, while Tella ghosted in behind completely unmarked. For the third, two defenders were drawn to Ash as he ran onto the long ball from Muric, leaving Tella completely unmarked again.

You can't believe future opponents will be so unaware of the dangers of pretending Nathan's doesn't exist, but nevertheless, could this partnership be the new Ingsy/Vokesy ?
