You are not trying to suggest we can’t find a better standard of manager than McInnes, Glass and Goodwin because we play in the diddy Scottish league? Of course we can….it’s just our illustrious chairman and the majority shareholder don’t want to be properly ambitious. Their talk of ambition is just talk…there is absolutely no substance behind it whatsoever. What decent players want to come and play for the likes of Jim Goodwin and Lee Sharpe? The supposed good players we had got beat by Darvel. They are not worth a bolt.
Before we address the player situation we have we need a proper manager in who will seriously evaluate our squad and prepare for what next season can bring. The type of players we sign can’t carry a poor manager and that has been evident. Time for us to seriously be ambitious and hire a manager with proper credentials.
Most clubs are looking for better managers, but it is easier said than done. Even your boy Adolf possibly wouldn't touch us with a ****ty stick, as we just don't have funds to compete in the way you speak of. Cormack may be a lot of things, but he's not going to spend/waste money on something that most likely will fail.

Neil the Don put up a good argument above. A manager to steady the ship, hopefully develop youth and pick up one or two smart buys like Miovski or Duk who can enhance the team and allow us to profit and reinvest.

Once the footballing side is stable and in a good place, then it might be worthwhile pushing the boat out and getting a top rate manager who possibly can take us to heights that seem far beyond us and the rest of Scottish football.

I fuc king hate this third place shyte, but that is our realistic aim over the next few seasons.

There was a time when I thought Neil Lennon might be what our club need. Maybe that time has come again….we need a bit of a nasty streak. The FMB don’t care what the fans think anyway so this appointment could be a strong one for them

Steve Hammell has become available. Has premier league experience and will be cheap as chips. The FMB will be keeping an eye on him now.

Didn't you also bang on about going for Jurgen Klinsman? What's he doing nowadays?

Just currently doing tv work as far as I know. Since you have brought it to my attention though….After Adi Hütter and Kjetil Knutsen i will put Jurgen Klinsmann as my third choice.

If Lennon ever becomes manager, I would even accept relegation as a method of getting rid of him.

Funnily enough I have seen a few stories on various social media sites this weekend with rumours that Lennon was out on the piss yesterday and was telling people he has a flight booked to Aberdeen next week.

    Probably a load of pish.

Could you imagine how volatile an atmosphere it would be at Pittodrie if Lennon was in charge and we were playing like dog sh1t

The place would be bordering on full scale riots
