It might not be a perfect decision, but why so strongly against MCallister? Histon was just another in the sad history of LUFC treading on banana skins in cup competitions, not a single coachs' fault?

Anyway, I'm hoping Skubala and his team get the nod, better than ANY of the alternatives!

Always had a soft spot for Gary Mc - was at his last game for us in charge away at MK Dons - truly shambolic defending that day with the only bright spark being Delph.

He has had a lot more experience since then but wonder if he is more of a number 2 than a manager. He would definitely try to play good football though.

Not sure about Gerrard he was good at Rangers and initially good at Villa but then seemingly fell out with players and lost the dressing room.

Maybe the board will see how Skubala gets on this weekend and look to have a temporary appointment so that they can get their first choice in the summer.
