We are getting Dali updates. The board should put their foot on Degas and see if they can bring home the Bacon. Any further delay would be like they are committing Freud - maybe we should call in a Constable?
Let’s hope we can Turner corner and hire someone to rescue our Cezanne. Not any old Jackson-Pollocks –. If this goes on much longer it will drive me up the Warhol.
Once the right person is appointed, we can Renoir our progress and van Gogh up the table.

Excellent post. It paints a true picture of our current situation.

Just saw that Valencia fired their coach - Gattuso. Appears to be a fiery character that demands a lot from his team and himself. If we are going to get relegated lets do it with someone that does not embarrass the team or supporters. He's won some big time hardware.

I guess that seems like too good of a fit for us. Better to go with Nuno, Allardyce or Garrard.

I still don't see the advantages of any of these "candidates" over the team led by Skubala at least until seasons end (whether he wants the role long term is another matter). We're at a point in the season where there is just no time for any newcomer to familiarise themselves with the squad, playing characteristics, formations etc etc etc, all of which Skubala already is. He was able to get a great result from the Old Trafford match, and I for one think that had he left well alone on Sunday we would have got a point (even if we didn't score). Two matches against an in-form Scum, and getting a point, is no bad return, and better than most would have expected.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man, give Skubala and his team chance to show what they are worth.
