What foreign football grounds have you been to?

And which one would you like to go to?

Never been to a live game abroad but done a couple of stadium tours, Camp Nou and the Maracana stadium, Brazil.

I quite fancy getting to a game in Germany, perhaps when Bayern or Dortmund are at home although I imagine getting tickets would be another matter.

Dongguan in China, but as per usual here, wouldn't let me in. From the outside it was just the usual athletic track with 2 large stands.

Used to pass a stadium on the train in Hong Kong at Mong Kok, not sure who played there. The stands were a bit like those at Don Valley....lol

American football? Candlestick Park (in San Francisco no longer there), Oakland Coliseum (no longer used for 'football') and Lumen Field (Seattle) home of the Seattle Seahawks but also used for 'soccer' by Seattle Sounders. Also seen 'soccer' games at the homes of Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes.

I've been to that stadium in Mong Kok, Avondale! My son played in a rugby tournament there in about 1992 (for Stanley Fort under 8s.) A lot less built up then.

I've been a couple of times to the Braunschweig stadium in German to watch Eintracht Braunschweig.

I've saw the Detroit Express play at the Pontiac Silverdome (to the north of Detroit) in 1976. Trevor Francis was their top signing. (Randomly I've also seen the Detroit Lions American football team play there and also went to an Elvis Presley concert there on New Years Eve 1976.)

Other than a few international games…

Nep Stadion in Budapest - saw two games - Vasas v Honved and Ferencvaros v Ujpest Dosza I think… Feyenoord at De Kuip v PSV (a pretty intimidating atmosphere/very vociferous fans!)

Would be interested to see St Pauli play at home one day…
