I understand Al. For me everyone else gets noticed because the media highlight their plight (if it’s politically in their interests) My suffering is very much alone but still nervous system damage due to trauma. What makes it more complicated is that the enemy was my mother. That makes it very deeply disturbing and personal. Someone gets the flu, they get cards, “hope you’re better soon” but what I go through is 24/7 and no cards, no one relates, nothing.
