Bilic said on Sky afterwards that Burnley's physicality did for them in the end, he said they just kept on coming, I assumed he meant that we were just too fit for them, still running after 90 odd minutes, while they were legless.

I think he meant we matched them in the "Dirty B@stards" league mon ami.

Barnes and Brownhill certainly take no prisoners.

When he said it at this point, he was referring specifically as to why they had conceded a late equaliser. It seemed to me that by physicality he meant fitness. But no manager will admit the opposition is fitter, so he used another word. It always amused me in the PL that managers and journos often described us as a big, rough, hard team, it was nonsense, we were lightweight, probably the smallest team in the league, we only had two players who could have been even remotely described as 'big'.

Definitley agree with your view sinkov, and our size was always going to become a problem, or so I thought earlier in the season when I said that we were too lightweight. However, as has been seen in every game we have played, out fitness is spot on and we just keep going for the full game, as was shown on Tuesday. A word too for VK who uses his subs well and keeps the pressure on the opposition. I heard Bilic's views and thought that he was using a veiled reference to our fitness, rather than size. It's all about opinions though, however, we are definitely not a big side.

In recent TV interviews both Cork & Brownhill have alluded to their determination to win the ball back and are instructed by VK to be aggressive in doing so.

What is fair to say is we are nobody's mugs or pushovers and will not be bullied out of a game. VK says be, "Good on the ball, aggressive off the ball", where have I heard that before?
