That's my opinion, and one shared by Vinni on Tuesday, as he hooked him at half time, or are you falling for the 'he was poorly' excuse, surely not ?
Agreed. I love the fact how ruthless VK is and the level required. I wouldn't mind him missing a couple of games and letting BPF have a few on the back of the performance he gave but lets take the whole season as a marker.

I have an old work colleague who is a mad Forest fan, he's pi$$ing himself and says our Aro is the worst goalkeeper he has ever seen.

Yes he had a bad time at Forest. Lets not let your mates judgement cloud ours though. let's say what we see. He has been a breath of fresh air, awesome to watch. Yes he made a mistake and had a bad 45 minutes the other night but lets not take it out of context to justify your friends judgement.

I also know plenty of people who have the most bizarre opinions on players. I wouldn't use their judgement as a point to my argument. I'd sooner stick to what I see & judge

I wrote on your player ratings for the PNE game he got a TEN.

Why he just scraped a THREE on Tuesday is way beyond my pay grade.

The fabulous thing about football is it creates so many opposing opinions, I suppose that's the whole point of Clarets Mad.

This forum is actually brilliant BT. I think every one on the whole has good honest opinions and generally IMO very good ones. It is such a more honest forum than one I have been part of in the past.

That's just what I do UG, all my comments on Muric's ability as a goalkeeper are based on what I've seen, I have nothing against him personally, I have no agenda, and if there's a better keeper out there when it comes to distributing the ball, I've not seen him.

I'm not going to list all the goalkeeping errors I've seen him make, they're far too numerous, most of them pretty basic, and I've forgotten most of them, so I'll put it this way. Tom Heaton played nearly 200 games for us and I saw the majority of them, in all that time I only twice thought he might have cost us a goal, and one of them could have been a deflection and possibly wasn't really down to him. When Nick Pope arrived I wasn't convinced at all, especially by his propensity to save shots with his feet or legs, there'll be posts buried somewhere on here with me expressing these doubts about him. I didn't push it, there was no need, all I had to was wait for his mistakes to pile up and prove me right, so I waited, and waited, and waited and it began to dawn on me that, just like Tom, Nick wasn't making mistakes and he was a top class keeper as well. I used the same process with Aro, but I didn't have to wait long, they've ben coming every game I've seen him, and it's not simply mistakes, it's basic stuff, he's 6ft 5 ins, but doesn't dominate the 6 yard box, never mind the penalty area, he doesn't appear to know whether to come off his line or stay on it, when he does come for a cross, if there's any challenge it's 50/50 at best whether he'll claim the ball or not, and on Tuesday the biggest crime a keeper can commit, he didn't know where he was, whether he was in the penalty area or not. In the event he did the right thing, not knowing where he was, he decided not to catch it, but it's basic, and a keeper who doesn't know where he is, is a problem, a fecking great big one.

That's what I'm seeing, that's what I base my comments on, and I'm not going to paper over it just because some fans might not like it. And I will re-iterate, I dive behind the settee when the shots or crosses are coming in, not when he has the ball at his feet, when playing football he's as good as there is.

Those are exactly my sentiments. Word for word exactly how I think. My overriding thought though is I just absolutely love the way he plays with his feet and sets this team up time after time with his quick brave passing.

I also do think we may come unstuck in the premier league, that's my honest opinion, with him in the goals. However I really do hope I am completely wrong and cannot wait to see how it pans out

I can't argue with that Untinted. I just hope that the next time he is picked the fans show him some love. And I think they will!
