    Paris Olympics

I see the Olympics Committee are still hell bent on allowing Russians and Belarusians to be given a pathway to enter despite outrage from most EU countries especially when many Ukrainian Olympians have been murdered.

Let’s hope this fiasco is abandoned and if family members of those on the Olympic committee are murdered or raped then it’s karma!! Different then!

Trouble is Al the world has not truly woken up to what is going on in Russia. A dictator hell bent on military conquest spending all his country’s revenue on weapons, armoury, ammunition, conscripting soldiers, threatening nuclear …. basically building up his arsenal for a long drawn out war against the West. Whereas countries in the West argue and dither about whether to send weapons, are careful how they criticise Russia, continue trading with countries who support Russia (e.g. India and China) and carry on their daily lives as if nothing is happening only a few hours a way by plane.

One day the West will wake up to what’s going on in Russia … I just hope it’s not too late.

100% agree with you! Those who choose to turn a blind eye are either uneducated or blind stupid!

There are plenty of countries that receive handouts of one sort or another from Russia that are members of the Olympic ‘family’; they will not do anything to upset Uncle Vlad. Lots of African countries in that category. Such countries care nothing for Ukraine, I suspect, they are only concerned with their own self interests; who cares how many are being butchered by the Russians as long as they get their oil and gas.

If all the countries that want a ban on all Russian and Belarusian athletes decide to boycott the Olympics then that would have some meaning as those countries probably provide a majority of the likely medal winners. Ultimately, though, I doubt that such a boycott will happen and that the IOC will allow Russians and Belarusians to compete, as will FIFA and most other World sporting bodies. People with morals and principles do not find themselves running these sporting bodies or countries, for that matter. Sadly, the human race is full of sh!t.

Totally agree Ketts. Many in this country only care about their self interests too! Different though if it were their kids being bombed, raped or murdered. The body found in the river today is absolutely awful for that family but no more awful than numerous kids being bombed alive in Ukraine - every day!!!

I hope countries boycott these games and the fiasco ends in disaster! If allowed to enter it will be used for propaganda with the sick V sign being shown as seen many times over.

The sports I like are Football, Boxing and International Rugby, that's about it. Men and women running and jumping I find boring. Don't matter how good their personal best is any decent dog would catch them.
Wrestling is okay, I used to have a lot of DVD's of wrestling.
Well it wasn't really wrestling but it was similar.
