Notts have apparently had several bids for Jack Bridge rejected by Southend, according to an article in The Athletic. He's a cracking player and I'd love to see him join the 'Pies!


"Notts County have seen an attempt to sign Southend United winger Jack Bridge rebuffed — despite the Es5ex club being gripped by a growing financial crisis.

League leaders Notts have pushed hard to land Bridge as they look to bolster their push for a return to the Football League.

They have made several bids for the 27-year-old and their most recent offer was a significant five-figure sum."

Apart from McShane, maybe the best individual performance against us this season was Bridge's in that 2-2 draw.

It'd be harsh on Chicksen though, and unnecessary based on Chicks' amazing contribution.
