My first reaction in realtime was foul but replay shows he just played to ball. Mulgrew at fault for trusting the bombscare keeper, keeper at fault for the initial pass to Mulgrew and the delay in booting the return away.

Sorry mate but Mulgrew has done absolutely nothing wrong there, the goalie just needs to clear his lines and not take a touch.......fkn cost us so many points this season and even with an average keeper in goal for us all season we'd match at least St Johnstone's points tally.

Agree. Any half decent keeper would have delt with that.

Mulgrew should never have offered for the ball. If he is supposed to be coaching the team, he should be directing players away from moves like that, especially as their players closed down in the box not long before that.

At the game I thought Mulgrew was massively culpable also. However it’s just been on Sky there ( thanks for that Sky ffs) That “goalkeeper” is a feking idiot, stupid pass out left Mulgrew with no choice but to pass back.

Absolute fool , completely incompetent and should never play for us again.

He should also play it back to the keepers better foot.

The keeper however, is a f*cking bombscare. Newman for the rest of the season.

That’s what I thought. Not a lot of difference from the Edwards scenario. The follow through took the keeper out as did Edwards on Halliday.Totally different outcomes though but that is refereeing in Scotland. What I would say is that wasn’t the first or second time he had. Even closed down quickly by May should have heeded the warning.

Ball should have been over the half way line in the first place! Every time the ball was being played out short, their press was pushing us back and tighter until the inevitable. Keeper, Mulgrew and especially Fox should have noticed that and got the message out there.
