Can’t see the coalition partners being happy with that level of bible thumping

I'm not saying it is right, but it's what happens, hence why I don't follow any of it much. and don't put too much trust in any of them.
Of course your general perspective of Political parties is spot on, Factions rool But I'd argue its slightly different with SNP a two pronged strategy is required 1 To present policies to the country as a whole.. policies the country likes and trust. 2 To fight for Independence its the second on where the friction lies passions run mighty high there.

Not seeing it at the moment, which is a failure of Sturgeon, given any high quality organisation is always looking at succession planning
The SNP are a political party, certainly not a high quality organisation.

Shouldn't be succession planning, just a candidate with enough savvy to con the party membership to vote them in and then onto the electorate that they will lead us into utopia. No modern day politician is going to surround themself with people of an equal/higher calibre than thenselves. They all want nodding dogs who they can pacify with an occassional bone to keep them happy and get rid if the going gets tough.

I agree I'd dump the toxic Greens in a heartbeat masel. We've had minority Governments afore. If we are both honest Mason its the Greens who were the main drivers of the GRR. A Bill which the country has overwhelmingly rejected.

I just want us out of the union. Once we rid ourselves of Westminster rule, only then we can start worrying abour real policies to present to the public without looking over our shoulder as to what the guffs are doing.

Ok, I guess those with ambition need to decide if they want to live the high in London on a largely wasted effort or stay in Edinburgh and have the ability to change/improve lives in Scotland

Well there is various polling conducted on the subject.. If you break it down a majority agree as I do it needed to made easier to gain a GRC. But a majority against self ID and also extending that to 16-18

If you actually check these polls the more that was actually revealed what was in the bill the more people were very apprehensive about it. Sturgeon and her Green masters totally fvcked up a reasonable bill by going way over the top. She let the Trans community in Scotland down badly.
