There are still plenty of poor pensioners some of whom have a small superannuation which prevents them from claiming benefits which puts them in the poverty trap.
The Green Party in Scotland are anti business and pro the work shy.

The idea of the poor pensioner is well in the past. Pensioners are generally better off than young people with families and many young people without families.
