I think he would be better with Notts passing game and would be an addition to the squad,I did think he was left footed rather than right footed though 🤷🏻
Probably the controversy leading up to this game spooked him
Thought the skipper in the middle of the park that Wrexham are supposedly after looked good

Good luck for the remainder of the season, although if you play like that you won't need luck.
Your fans were outstanding. Stuck behind the team throughout. As others have said, I hope your current difficult time off the pitch leads to the emergence of your knight or knights in shining armour in the form of new owners, much like ours did.

On to the game and result and it's clear to see that this team are amazing and all the ingredients are there for this to go down as a special season if we can go on and finish the job and get promoted. The challenge is as tough as it's been and will continue to be from now until the end but we have to keep going and going hard taking each game one at a time. Seven wins in a row and it's starting to have all the signs of the Cotteril run that we had in 09/10 at the business end of the season.

Our goal difference is moving ahead of Wrexham and that's a positive as that really could be a worth an extra point. So while we have scored four goals in the past three games it is still only +5 over Wrexham and this shows how stiff the competition is. We just have to hope that if we drop points they do, and if they drop points we don't.

I can't think of a season like it and I doubt we will ever see a season like it again. One automatic promotion place, two teams relentless going at it. 1 defeat in 34 games, 25 games unbeaten.

Let's hope the psychology of Wrexham being 2nd no matter what they do remains as long as possible especially while they still have games in hand. Wexham's first game in hand to be played is next Tuesday at home to Chesterfield. So we need to win on Saturday and maintain at least a five point cushion.

If there is a tiny criticism of tonight, it's that we managed to pick up two really stupid bookings. The ref was good and both were deserved, no need for Chicksen to boot the ball away and Slocombe ignored the warning the ref gave him. We need both players available for the rest of the season, I hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the arse.

19 wins on the trot to win the league. On tonight’s evidence I wouldn’t rule it out, fckin brilliant.
Edit; fair goes to the Southend fans as well, they were fckin brilliant too.

Obviously I don't want Southend to go out of business but that is as far as it goes. Their fans spent as much time slagging our support off as they did supporting their team. Their chant of 'Is this a library?', should have been countered with 'No it's an abattoir', cos we slaughtered them. Thank god we didn't sign the invisible man that was Jack Bridge.
They were moaning about their injuries but we were missing five also in, Brindley, TAR, Vincent, Nemane and Scott.
Rumours are that Paul Mullin is to be Tom Daley's new sychronised diving partner.
I thought LW allowed us to take the hand brake off tonight, as the work rate was through the roof tonight. What an engine Sam Austin has, so pleased he scored his first league goals tonight to go along with all of his assists which are impressive given the amount of minutes he has played.

I wouldn't judge Jack Bridge on this game alone though. He would add strength on the left side as I think it was clear tonight that IW won't be playing Joel Taylor.

Harsh, their support was excellent and deserves full respect.

A lot of praise for us on their forum:

Standard banter for away fans, especially if your team isn't giving you much else to sing about. To be fair, I thought our Kop was a bit off form tonight, relative to the brilliance of the performance.

To be fair, they were probably singing about the lack of support from the Pavis.
