Sometimes it goes with you other times it doesn't. Saturday not many could see what was wrong with our early goal that was disallowed, if it had stood could have been a different result. Last night we scored 1st which made the difference. Could have lost or drawn both games so happy with the 3pts from 2 home games. MT managed side well last night brought subs on at the right time hope it's start of picking some points up before the WBA Norwich games.

Perhaps the next stage will be that all matches are refereed remotely without any officials on the pitch and that doesn't bear thinking about.
A bit like getting used to relying on satnav

Not much to add to what's been said but just a bit of a further thought on reality checking. The 2nd half was a backs to the wall and welll executed rear guard action but on other games could well have gone against and often does despite our best efforts. I thought our first 30 mins against Coventry and the first half against Reading were of similar quality to our first half yesterday but we happened to get in the lead and hold on despite injuries piling up. So what I am getting at is that maybe we shouldn't be quite so quick to catastrophise when results go against us, or when the team doesn't click. At the end of the day, they are a team consisting of budget buys and imports that other teams don't want, and I think MT has done as well as anyone could have expected to get what he has from us, and of course the players should be applauded for yesterday, but also, not so quickly subject to finger pointing and accusations of not trying/being cr*p when things aren't working for them.

For me, I am expecting several mmore disappointments but hopefully 4 or 5 more 90 mins of success that might be enough to get us over the line and that seems a more reaistic hope than sending in loads of damning negativity after each disappointment. Just a thought.

Hail the lads and staff for last night though and I think the crowd getting well behind them in a way that often isn't there was a huge factor in seeing out the win. Fosu was excellent in his midfield role - seemed to catch Sunderland out but obv if he continues there teams will be more adapted to counter him. Coventry showed what he can do as well, at least in the first hour and great shows as ever from Viking, Basil, Pelts, Hilda, Hump, Videostar and great to see Wes showing what he can do when he is switched on. Oggie also seems to be returning to form which is crucial as an outlet. Good cameos from the others off the bench also - well played all who were there, on and off the pitch.
Regarding teams countering Fosu, Coventry City did that last Saturday, every time Ogbene got
the ball, there were 2 defenders on him straight away.

One or two fire the bullets then sit back. Everyone else give there opinion. Once it's starts to quite down they jump back in a stoke the fire. Depending on which side of the fence you sit. It's either funny or childish annoying. Same posters. No matter who they post under there's always a pattern

Brilliant result last night and Fosu’s quick feet were a joy to behold. Mackems justified in bemoaning their equaliser being disallowed for a foul on Viktor, as it was Humphries that clattered him. They are, however oblivious to the Two pens we should have had, and also keep forgetting which team has been in the higher league more in recent years and stuck five past them last season they way they are badmouthing us, lol.

If you watch the last disallowed goal back, it's not Humphrey's elbow that collides with Viktor face, its O'niens. UTM

I went last night and i really enjoyed the game,i thought the Millers were slightly off the pace for the first 15mins or so but then for the rest of the 1st half were the better side and deserved to be in front at H/T.Both the Millers goals were very good and i think your keeper is a top Keeper at this level and i would like the BLADES to sign him if it was possible and i also like Rathbone,i was knackered just watching the effort he put in and he's a better footballer than some give him credit for in my opinion.Good luck for the rest of the season Millers.
