O/T Telecasters

I was looking for a new Telecaster. I don't really know why, I already own a minty 20 year old Tele, American standard in vintage white, with a rosewood board. It's great, but didn't really give me the Tele spank and twang that I was looking for. I did some research on Ebay, and I bought a Thomas Johnson custom, one of a kind. It's unique. Oiled swamp ash body, hard rock maple satin finish neck, hand wound pups. Plays like a dream. My dilemma is, do I swap the 60s hand wound pups for a pair of Lindy Fralin Texas Specials.

The guitar, at the moment looks, sounds and plays like a like a three grand guitar. What do you reckon gru. Should I chuck a pair of Lindy's in it
