It is sad that 123 will go through life with this constant chip on his shoulder. Brexit is here to stay whether right or wrong. It isn't going to change in the foreseeable future whichever party is in power.

    That's not what I said.

I said anyone who still thinks Brexit is a good idea is dim and unintelligent.

I think people who people who voted Leave and have changed their mind now were probably naïve. And I have a bit of compassion for them because they've been conned.

As you correctly say, it is my opinion which I'm entitled to have.

But if that makes me dim and unintelligent , for having the right to vote for Brexit, so be it.
Well done on being an electrical engineer. Now imagine someone who has no idea about electrics telling you how to rewire a plug. That's kind of how I feel when Leavers spout off the type of unintelligible stuff I hear and read.

Ultimately, you have very little to zero knowledge about this. Yet talk like you have some authority on the subject. Stick to plug sockets and what you know, because you don't know much about international trade.

Oh, I completely forgot I couldn't talk about it. Thanks for the heads up mate.

Jeez 123, lol. Hope you’re okay mate. Go easy on soulman, he’s a decent poster here.

I’m sure we’ll both agree the real culprits to blame also were our politicians and mainstream media with the lies.

Wasn’t a fan of Sunak, and by no means still.. but he’s done a far better job than what boris did, so it seems. Just makes you wonder if we just had competent politicians what could really have been achieved.

That is a disgusting way to speak to Soulman.

You are such an arrogant bloke.

You should take a look in the mirror and maybe start asking yourself about how you come across in life to other people.

I was honestly both gobsmacked and seething when I read your reply.

    I have to agree Regis.

It does make you wonder why this was beyong both Barnier and all of the idiots we had working on this originally.

Let’s hope this more grown up approach by both sides leads to a smoother way of us in the U.K. trading with the Eu and vice versa.

Have you ever thought about the human element around why people voted leave? If you think society was duped by a couple of tricksters, I think you’re wrong. People wanted borders back with a points style immigration system and this was the ONLY way of achieving that.

The dimmest thing about this is that you think brexit not being done, dusted and the fruits materialising 7 years after the vote is a sign of failure. Most (non dim) people I know who voted for this knew there would be long term pain before the benefits realised. That’s before a pandemic consumed everyone’s time.

Personally I don’t think Brexit is a good idea as being a buying professional you can’t get a better deal without volume or buying groups.

That said - it’s wrong to use dim and unintelligent because there will be some ( not many granted ) who will be making millions out of Brexit and using their entrepreneurial skills to take advantage.

Stick to football 123 - you talk a lot of sense.

PS - Boris is an idiot but certainly wouldn’t call him dim or unintelligent by his Oxbridge studies. Some would say he’s bright for milking the system - creaming off money and making more money ( even now ) than anyone in Government.

PS - immigration is worse now than its ever been so Brexit has not done anything to improve this!!
