You want ‘edgier’? Try Peak Cavern at Castleton. Unusual...brilliant setting. Saw The Christians there last summer, who were excellent, and a Fleetwood Mac tribute band who weren’t. Unusual and intimate with acoustics which might ‘challenge’ the sound crew.

I might suggest it
