Looks like it’s going to be a 2 horse race between Wilder and Lennon as both been interviewed. I was hoping we could get better. Wilder hasn’t done much at all. Lennon has won trophies at different clubs so looks the stronger candidate as he has European experience also. Wilder would be someone new to the league though and has a sense of humour….he will certainly need it if he lands our management gig.

I myself was hoping Adi Hutter or Ricardo Rodriquez would get the job

I would be happy with most of the candidates from outside the standard Scottish fitba bubble, someone who is not going to come in with the mentality that we canny compete in games against the cheeks.

Totally agree bovril pal, he ruled himself out coz he thought he was going to pick up a gig in guffland with a bigger wage packet than we would be offering, it obviously never happened so he has put himself back in the frame, fek him and get the deal done with Lennon.

Definitely. That’s why I hoped Adolf Hutter or Ricardo Rodriquez Suarez would land the job. Maybe Wilder would have a right go and in fairness to Lennon he has a go against Celtic and Rangers.

Him and Burrows being good mates was the starting point…don’t blame me, I can’t (or don’t want to) pick their friends. I would much prefer the 2 candidates I mentioned. I think the real sticking point for our club is deciding if we should change our strip to red and white hoops for Lennon to become boss. I think myself it’s a step too far.

But Stewarty how can you be so sure that Lennon is not on the radar, have you got some inside intel or something?
The club are playing their cards close to their chest, and if they are to finally do a proper job before appointing our next gaffer, as we all know that a proper job was not done prior to the last two failures being appointed.
So doing it properly this time means there should be a few contenders being looked at and Lennon with his SPFL managerial experience track record as well as his connection as mates with Burrows and Wiggy is on the radar. Whether it happens or not now that's another matter. Hearing a rumour that he has requested to call our new stadium Park Red.
Neil Lennon will have had chats with Burrows, Wiggy and Cormack that is for sure.

Stewart Milne aka Wiggy…is a problem at the club. He has too much say and he was definitely ready to go for Lennon when Darek was thinking of going to Govan. Burrows now being a friend on Lennon will make appointing someone different a real surprise.
