Would it make any difference to those against?
Or is it cash at all costs?
I would happily pay more tax if this was the case.
Strange how we are taking it up the arse with the cost of living, energy prices etc but the thought of a tax hike.
Oh God no.
Strange
Where is the money to pay for all the issues you have quoted going to come from in an independent Scotland.
Despite having the extra welfare powers that the SNP controlled Scottish Government demanded from Westminster and the record £41 billion they received from Westminster under the rules of the Barnett Formula this year the Scottish Government have stated on numerous occasions that they cannot use these extra welfare powers because they are too expensive to use.
This is the real world not Brigadoon.
There is no point in the SNP MSPs demanding extra powers from Westminster if they are not going to use them.
No wonder all the devolved matters which come under the control of the Scottish Government are shambles and if Humza Yousef is appointed leader of the SNP and First Minister things will get worse not better.
Yousef was hopeless as Transport Minister, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and now Cabinet Secretary for Health.
Normally it is three strikes and you are out but in the SNP controlled Scottish Government it often results in people being promoted to their level of incompetence.
We have the same problem in Dundee Football Club.
