If they draw tonight and we win all of our remaining games (unlikely), we'll be champions.

If they draw tonight and we win at Wrexham (possible) and match (or beat) them for all the other remaining games (quite possible), we'll be champions.

They spend their lives trying to reach the top of their chosen profession, they're assessed constantly, and the idea that they might throw that all away by giving some dubious decisions to Dagenham (or any of our opponents, for that matter) is naïve and paranoid.
This. I wish both clubs/sets of fans would shut up about referees, it’s embarrassing.

That only works when you win though.

Ardley used to constantly big up rubbish teams, and then we'd struggle against them.

It seems the only questions are only in a couple of heads on here and yours being one of them😋

Well if you choose to ignore them that is fine, but they still exist

People just remember the decisions that go against you and forget the ones that go for you. Just in recent weeks, we were all rightly fuming about the Langstaff decision against Dagenham, but Southend had an equally blatant penalty not given at 1-0 in that game. Same on Saturday, the penalty they scored from was a bad decision, but one he gives outside the box was comfortably inside it. All evens itself out, give or take.
