On our way out they were filming some footballers having a go at the crossbar challenge ,so we stopped and watched them and low and behold Zaroury and a few others were there having a great time ..Zaroury was unbelievable with his shots hitting the crossbar three times on the trot from 25yds out and laughing and joking with the others.The team spirit was there for all to see. Spent about 10mins watching until my grandson said he was bored. Good fun though. ����
It's a long time since we lived in Brierfield Alfie and I haven't been back much since. I believe they've made a good job of the Mill, always bemuses me how some areas can get funding for such worthwile projects, while other areas can't.
