    Leisure Box

In Brierfield, used to be Smith and Nephews Mill. Had my 3yr old grandson today and took him to the soft play area there, goes without saying we had a great time.
On our way out they were filming some footballers having a go at the crossbar challenge ,so we stopped and watched them and low and behold Zaroury and a few others were there having a great time ..Zaroury was unbelievable with his shots hitting the crossbar three times on the trot from 25yds out and laughing and joking with the others. The team spirit was there for all to see. Spent about 10mins watching until my grandson said he was bored. Good fun though. 👍😁

    unexpected surprise - Alf.

....amazing how these guys have such a way with the ball, though I guess, if your doing it daily....then it becomes natural, near unbelievable to us, normal to them etc.
....and makes you wonder, if it so easy to get it right, then how easy to get it wrong - and how would we know ?

Sounds like good fun Alfie, I enjoy my time with the grandkids better than I ever did with their parents!

When it used to be on Soccer AM, it was usually the keepers who were the best, I doubt that's the case now.

because that'd be discriminatory - Sinkov.....can't be having a keeper expose a strikers (etc) weakness, they might start crying.

It's a long time since we lived in Brierfield Alfie and I haven't been back much since. I believe they've made a good job of the Mill, always bemuses me how some areas can get funding for such worthwile projects, while other areas can't.

Every time we return from a visit to London my wife says, "Levelling up, they are having a laugh mate!"
