Not as easy to spot now that they don't go around waving swastikas. And not to be found predominately in any one country like years ago.
But they are about and still influencing governments with their policies. They haven't gone away. Just evolved.

Is the updated Swastika not the ‘ Z ‘ symbol painted on all this madman’s armoured vehicles? At his age one would have thought tendering to his Russian rose garden would be more appropriate.

Apparently, in the words of a statement from the BBC ‘Lineker is stepping back from presenting MOTD.’

I listened to a clip by comedian Jim Davidson today about Lineker.

Let me point out here and now I don’t find him in the least bit funny but I did find myself agreeing with his point of view on this and act surprised myself.

His stance was that although you might dislike Lineker (as he himself admitted he does) but that he should be allowed his opinion and to put it on Twitter or wherever.

He contended that if you happen to like Jeremy Clarkson and his sometimes outlandish comments in the media then you can’t have it both ways.

He’s absolutely right, I see that.

The only caveat is that Clarkson now works for Amazon Prime and they couldn’t give a toss what he says but the BBC contract demands impartiality.

So as long as Lineker doesn’t break his contract rules and regs with the BBC of moves to another station with no rules governing this then that’s fine.

Sunak, our prime minister with no mandate, once again spends taxpayers' monies like confetti, but the story is eclipsed by Lineker. Say what you like, but Lineker has turned out to be an useful idiot for the Tories tonight.
