Well I certainly am and proud of it.

And he is too, it's great how he rails against the World Economic Forum - that's one pillar of the world capitalist edifice, so he has to oppose the whole shebang. Yes, a staunch socialist is '59'

This is entering the realms of the surreal, Lineker must be loving it!

What I hope is that when the Old Etonian, Public School/Oxbridge cabal now running the BBC haul this son of the Leicester city centre market stalls and first try to reel him in, then wait for their moment to turn it into a Oxford Union debate and grind him down...

...that he has none of it and stuffs it to them.
He should remember that none of them has the Golden Boot for a World Cup Final Tournament! He seems immovable on this and ready to leave, if that's what happens, so good for him

Politics didn't count then when Lineker was spouting about their human rights issues, and chose to ignore it anyway.

Who are they going to get to present MOTD? Sugar? Portillo? Clarkson? Maybe they’ll go the whole hog and get the mad conspiracy theorist off GBeebies or Le Tissier.

Either way, the BBC will only get back to its normal self when Davie and Sharp are shown the door.

I'm sure Lineker has an 'exit strategy' in place, and it certainly won't be to his detriment.

If he goes, I wonder if a future tweet will be about the chairman of the BBC helping to facilitate a loan of £800,000 to the then PM Boris Johnson?

At least this should end accusations of the 'lefty'BBC', unless your username happens to be Magpies1959.

The lefty BBC thing has always been bullsh!t. The people who make that accusation have always just wanted the Sun/Daily Mail/Express/Telegraph in broadcast form.

Funny how the right think the BBC is always promoting the left and the left think they’re always promoting the right. Maybe they do occupy the centre ground after all.

Here’s a new concept for Match of the Day, just show a decent amount of highlights of the actual games and cut out the 45 minutes of waffle we seem to get every week, there’s more chat than football.

But as much as I dislike Lineker as a presenter, suspending him over this is pretty ridiculous.

And we think we've got problems:

A large operation is under way off Italy's coast to rescue 1,300 migrants in overcrowded boats.
