Actually, none of them are needed, just anyone could announce each match to be shown, no need for the analysis cr@p as we don’t need to be told what we have just seen. BBC could save a shed load of our money.

So Ian Wright refuses to go on MOTD in solidarity with the jug ears k nob! Well that’s good news as Wright can hardly spit two words out as he’s thicker than a lump of concrete!
PS - no great loss with Shearer going either as he’s past it and quite frankly boring….

Thank feck for that. Let's just have the highlights shown instead of all the 'expert' analysis which is just utter dribble!
Ian Wright is as thick as a 13 years olds spunk.
Is there any chance Clinton Morrison and Lee Hendrie doing one in solidarity?
Oh…..and the dike with the mike who looks like Lee Hendrie!?
The news gets better by the minute; Micah Richards and Alex Scott have both ruled themselves out of stepping into MOTD tomorrow night. All football fans, I suspect, will be celebrating. MOTD without the blah blah blah would be an immense improvement.
This is why many turn their backs on football due to arrogant rich footballers who think they can get away with whatever!
Most of these pundits are thick as s hit and make Kane and Beckham look half intelligent!
Where were their principles and solidarity at the World Cup in Qatar ?
Is this the beginning of the end for the BBC?
Personally - Lineker isn't a news broadcaster so should be able to tweet whatever he likes, most people can see beyond the hysteria and demarcate between what he's paid to do & what he does when he's "out of the office". I'd hope the BBC hierarchy is calm and objective enough to reconsider their approach here.
Bring Dan Walker back to the BBC to host both Football focus and Match of the day.
I used to think he was brilliant.
