Thread: Are we living in the 13th Century?

This helps prevent the installation of a republic by non - democratic means. Any Government that refused to leave against the wishes of the people could be removed by the King through the armed forces.

The King does also retain the Royal Prerogative with which he can veto any legislation - legislation still has to be signed by the King to come into force. Although not used since Queen Victoria, it provides a check against power grabs. Parliament can pass a Bill. It does not become an Act until signed.
Forgive me if I'm totally wrong on this S_c but Blow Job and Rees-Mogg persuaded the Queen to blow the "Constitution" out of the water when she was holed up in Balmoral.

I recall writing on this matter before and discovered we have an "uncodified constitution". This enables chancers like Blow Job and the Moggster to allow the constitution to be easily changed because no provisions are formally entrenched.

The whole system is loaded and rigged. Old Henry knew what he was doing.

What irks me is that as a Royal Marine I served in three war zones and yet Prince Edward has more medals on his chest than myself and what is maybe not known is that Edward failed to pass his Marine training, yes it is tough but he failed to make the grade.

You asked, you got, what don't you understand about Swiss's explanation ? I'm curious as well BT, what sort of citizen are you, if you met your King, would you doff your cap or touch your forelock ? I'm not one for bowing and scraping, I prefer cap doffing myself, always keep one handy in my back pocket, just in case, you never know.

yes BT....they've reworked, rewritten, reversed and reshuffled it so vastly...that I doubt its worth the paper it's written upon, (because they could).

...and I think we can forget about Sovereignty, because the "reign" of it is a treasonous (Wettin et-al) bloodline of racketeers thats spread it's seed thoughout all fields of influence - it an elite global network of multinational companies, bankers and billionaires etc.....it an international "business" that rules without our consent - of course, we can rattle on and on, passively....but truth is, we need to Wake Up, quit this futile loyalty...and use our god given right to overthrow it, before "it" repeals our right to exist.

Swissclaret's explanation was great coming straight out of the Book of Fairy tales sinkov but when two chancers can persuade the reigning monarch to prorogue Parliament the "Constitution" is not worth a fart is it? As for a military junta, I'd leave that in the realms of likes of these two...

Where have you been my old mate? I hope you are keeping your head down.

Get rid? Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 19, will not inherit the title Countess of Wes*** with it skipping her for her younger brother, James, who will become the Earl of Wes***.

The move is due to the ancient rules of primogeniture where titles and property go not to the eldest child but to the eldest son.

Never mind a cup of tea and one of Mrs BT's delicious homemade scones, you'd invite him down to the nearest Spoons for a full English and a couple of pints, I know you mon ami.

But Parliament was not prorogued was it ? Checks and balances, the system works, better keep a hold of nurse, for fear of finding something worse.

Johnson simply exposed a fatally flawed "system" sinkov and him and Moggy are still laughing at us.
