If you were visiting for 7-10 days what would you recommend after Stockholm?

Any absolute gem of a coastal destination similar to Cornwall perhaps?

I’d probably say the west or south coast, different coast line to Cornwall though. Places like Lysekil, Smögen, Göteborg in the west and the area Österlen in the far south (Kivik, Simrishamn, Ystad - ”Wallander area”, crime stories by Henning Mankell).

There is a nice canal trip available not far south from Stockholm - ”Göta kanal”, starting in Söderköping.

Don’t miss the archipelago just outside of Stockholm - lots of boat trips available.
